I bought two of the single units and one of the doubles. Really like the way they went together, and functionally, they work well. What I really DISLIKE is the way they are so UNFINISHED! The bottoms of the shelves and the top piece as well are BLOND...Trust me, it is EXCEEDINGLY noticeable. The units are essentially, TWO-TONED. I would have happily paid a few dollars more for the blonde portions to have been shot with black paint...a task I had my boyfriend do.
One other quick comment, if you are purchasing a unit to go, "with" the double shelving unit available, be aware that the top/bottom edging on the double (of the one we received) is OGEE and the top/bottom edging of the single is radius. Side by side that will not work. Luckily for us we have them in different rooms, so it did not make any difference.

Had some problems assembling the unit due to particle board fixed shelf which cracked on one edge where it fastened to the side panel. This made it difficult to insert the cardboard divider. Also the black terminate attracts dirt like a magnet. Should have ordered the wood grain terminate instead. The size and swivel feature is great!

Pretty nice but not for the price : Prepac Black Triple Barrister Media (DVD,CD,Games) Storage Rack
Alright since the narrative doesnt tell you how many dvds this thing holds let me. It holds about 588 general dvd cases. 28 dvds per each section you see in the picture. Now this isint too hard to put together, it was easyer than I belief it would be. Should take the median guy 1-2 hours. When assembling always read a few steps ahead so you understand how each peice should face.
You absolutely need to stare at the pictures in the directions to double check which holdes get what type of hardware, or at least I did. uncomplicated stuff, I just double checked all before manufacture any big moves. Now some people on these reviews say to take off the 3 top trim peices in order to use all of the shelf space. Dont do this if you are storing dvds or blu-rays. If you do sit dvds on the top section right under the trim peices, the dvd will be a hair too tall. Dont Worry, if you slide the dvd in at an angle it will fit in just fine and dandy, the trim peices will be in front of the dvd's and will cover just a hair off the top of the dvd case. Also the only bad thing about this item is the wall mount bracket, its a plasic thing with a zip tie. Im not kidding here. So I didint even mess around with this.
I went to the hardware store and bought 2 small black L brackets and a few small screws and mounted it against the wall like that, much easyer and safer. This shelf theory looks good and is nice for the money. I still have room for about 125 dvds, once I sat every movie I owned on the shelves.

I bought two of these to store Dvds and Blu-ray discs (plus a few Hd-Dvd...), and the cases are all I hoped they would be. Very sturdy, easy to assemble, and they look nice on either side of my big screen Lcd Tv.
I used to have half a dozen smaller store-bought cases - kind of eclectic/messy. I consolodated to just these two cases and couldn't be happier (well, 10 million bucks would make me happier, but anyway).
